GIVE BACK AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE RIGHT HERE AT HOME

There are so many service opportunities within the church to help our church family and our neighbors.

"'For I was hungry and you gave me somthing to eat, I was thristy and you gave me something to drink, I was a stragner and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothes me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.' 'Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?' 'The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters or min, you did for me.'" Matthew 25:35-40 NIV

STEPHEN MINISTRY

AT THE CHURCH

For folks going through a crisis or difficult time, it often helps to talk to someone outside of the situation about it. Through our Stephen Ministry, we are able to help individuals work through difficult times by offering confidential, one-on-one Christian care.

You don't need to be a licensed counselor to serve as a Stephen Ministry leader -- our leaders are regular, everyday people who have gone through 50 hours of training in how to provide distinctively Christian care. The only qualifications are being a good listener, a trustworthy confidant, and able to focus on the needs of the care receiver.

EUCHARISTIC MINISTRY

AT THE CHURCH

Holy communion is a tangible reminder of God's love for us and we want to ensure that all members of our church family have the opportunity to receive the sacrament. So our team of lay Eucharistic Ministers takes communion to members of our church who are homebound or in nursing homes. The idea of becoming a Eucharistic Minister might be intimidating at first, but rest assured that our Ministers are regular people who simply feel called to welcome everyone to God's table.

MARY & MARTHAS KITCHEN

AT THE CHURCH

Do you love to cook? Then grab your apron and consider joining our team of volunteers who make casseroles for the church to deliver to members of the congregation and community who are in need or going through difficult times. Sometimes a meal prepared with love is just the thing to see them through to a brighter tomorrow.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

AT THE CHURCH

Children can never have too many positive, Christian role models in their lives. And there are ample opportunities for you to help our youngest church members grow spiritually. We are always looking for people to teach Sunday school and Vacation Bible School, care for babies in the nursery, volunteer at and help plan special events, donate food and supplies, and so much more.

YOUTH MINISTRY

AT THE CHURCH

It's not easy being a teenager. But whether they'll admit it or not, young people are looking for guidance and direction as they work to make sense of their evolving relationship with God. That is where you come in and can make a difference - we are always looking for people to teach Sunday school, volunteer at and help plan special events, donate food and supplies, chaperone mission trips, teach confirmation classes, share their faith stories, and so much more.
