CHANCEL CHOIR

Choir Room 108, 5:45-6:45 P.M.

Calling all members of the congregation! We would love to have you join us in the Chancel Choir!  Before you launch into all the reasons you can’t do it, please consider the following information:

1) You don’t have to have a great voice.  Choir is truly one of the instances in which the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.  It is not necessary for every member to have a soloistic voice.  The more people we have in the group the better we will sound.

2) You don’t have to be able to read music.  We have strong leaders in each section.  You can add your leadership to that, or just follow the others in the section.  We can teach you your part during rehearsals.  I can even make you a recording of your part to practice with if you’d like.

3) It doesn’t have to be a huge time commitment.  It is not necessary to be able to attend every rehearsal and every service.  We will be happy to have you whenever you can make it.

Please share your time and talents by singing in the Chancel Choir.  We rehearse on Wednesday nights from 5:45-6:45.  You don’t have to make a long term commitment right away, you are welcome to sit in on a rehearsal or two to see how it goes.
