Contemporary Service in Crossroads Worship Center

Sundays 8:30AM, 9:30AM, and 10:30AM

8:30AM - Some of us are called to worship with both feet rooted in the traditions of the church. Held in the Sanctuary, we join in celebrating God's presence with the classics: hymns, creeds, and pipe organs. If you love singing hymns, this is your service.

9:30AM - The Blend - This service blends Traditional and Contemporary styles of worship together to create a relaxed atmosphere.

10:45AM - Some of us are called together to worship in a contemporary style. We use our creative talents (lots of them!) to center our focus on Jesus. If you love the "new stuff," this is your service.

We have a kid-friendly and handicap-accessible worship space, and we also provide childcare in room 102.

Are you new here? If the answer is yes, then you're probably debating whether or not you want to try us out on a Sunday morning.

But you're most likely worried about the awkwardness that comes with visiting a church for the first time - where to go, where to sit, who to speak with, and where to take your kids. So let's take the awkwardness out of the equation by arranging to meet face-to-face at the church the first Sunday you decide to visit. We'll meet you at the door, show you around, introduce you to folks, help you find a place to sit, and share all the exciting opportunities to worship, grow, and serve with us. We're also happy to meet you during the week if you'd like to get to know us better before attending a Sunday worship service.

To get started, simply e-mail our hospitality coordinator, Carla Bond, with the date and time you'd like to visit. She'll take care of the rest!

Considering her favorite food is an old-fashioned, home-made hamburger, it's no wonder Carla fits in so well here. We don't even need to mention the fact that she grew up in Mansfield , graduated from NSU, and is a retired teacher and assistant principal - the love of hamburger is what sold us on her.
She is married to Kevin Shannahan and they have a grown daughter and two precious grandchildren. When not at church, you can find Carla enjoying time with friends and family.
Her favorite part about being on church staff is getting to meet new people, which she does a lot of through her involvement in Stephen Ministry, Intercessory Prayer Group, Crafters with Purpose, Eucharistic Ministry, and Kids Hope USA.

What is the dress code?

Is there such a thing as a dress code anymore? You'll find a wide range of attire at our services - from blue jeans and t-shirts all the way to folks' Sunday best. But we're fairly certain God doesn't care how you dress for worship, so our motto is come as you are and be comfortable.

I'm new here what is my next step?

Check out our "New Guest" page and send us a message to let us know when you'd like to attend your first worship service.
